This Saturday, I will be taking part in Virtual Burj Khalifa Charity Climb. The main objective of this charity climb is to raise fund to support the children of SOS Children's Village Kyrgystan.
I am aiming to climb the Highest Occupied Floor of Burj Khalifa, which is 585.4 meters on a 40 Floors staircase (130 meters each climb). Although there are only a total of 2,909 steps in Burj Khalifa, but the step height of each building are different from one to another. Therefore, the best way is to climb the height of the Highest Occupied Floor, in which is 585.4 meters.
I will need to climb a total of 4.5 times of it, which equal to 180 Floors in total. I will have about 2:15 minutes break between each 40 floors climb while waiting for the lift to descend back to ground floor.
I am targeting to complete each 40 floors climb in between 4:10 - 4:15 min and give my best effort on the final 20 floors. With that, I am looking at a total climb time of 18:45 min or a sub 19 will be my goal for this mission.
Here is the link for you guys to take part on it. With a minimum of 100 AED = RM 112.5 = 27.23 USD donation to this charity, you can then join the group chat we have and do the mission on this Saturday 22nd May 2021.
I am aiming that one day, I will climb the real staircase of Burj Khalifa to attempt multiple World Records once I got the approval from them to do it!
